ID Split Bird Rings

Split rings are for closed rung or mature birds that do not have an identification ring on their leg. The ring automatically works as a "return-if-lost" mechanism when registered with us. Included in your split ring order is a certificate of registration and identification as part of your birds legal, welfare and safety programme.

Fitting a Split Ring
When fitting a split ring on a young bird, please make sure that it is fitted with the letters and numbers the correct way up: ie - so that the ring marking can be read when the bird is standing.  Please also make sure that it is fitted above any foot furniture on the bird, and never locate two rings on the same leg.

Delivery
We hold all sizes of split rings in stock for quick delivery.  Delivery of all ring orders is by 1st class postage, which means that from the date of despatch, you will receive your goods by Royal Mail's 24/48 hour signed and tracked service.  Your goods will arrive to UK destinations within 2-4 working days, allowing time for order processing, handling and packaging.  Delivery to destinations outwith the UK will take longer and depend on location/country.
